About the Restaurant
The Bridge Restaurant & Lounge has been serving Dubuque, Iowa since 1961. The restaurant started out as a small cafe,
open 24-hours. The Bridge Cafe was a popular spot for breakfast late night Saturday/early Sunday mornings.
Almost 50 years later, The Bridge, one of the oldest restaurants in Dubuque, is still going strong. Ray and Sandy Herzog purchased The Bridge in
December of 1994 and their son Nick is the manager. We have an excellent long-term staff that is ready to serve you.
We offer casual dining for groups of any size. We have three comfortable dining rooms, total seating is 190 and can accommodate parties up
to fifty-four in our private room.
Popular menu items include our delicious BBQ ribs--so tender you won't even need a knife, Broasted chicken, whole catfish,
and hand-cut Ribeye steaks. We have an extensive line of seafood with eight types of broiled or battered fish, five types of shrimp.
As our sign says, we have the best steaks in town and our combination dinners are also very popular.
We are open Wednesday through Sunday at 4:00 pm, and also serve a Sunday morning breakfast buffet beginning at 8:00 am for only $6.99.
Reservations are not required for smaller groups, but for larger groups, we like to have the table prepared ahead of time.
So give us a call, we look forward to serving you.
